I am with you on this one. But even 6.5.3 has fixed my VCB backup issues that I
had with 6.5.2. I do like backup type 3 for VCB, have done both full VM restore
and single file restores as well.
One issue that I do see is that after VCB backup the vmtools on some of the
VM's go into "Not Running" mode and next VCB backup fails. But this is a VMWare
VCB bug and they are working on it.
