Hi Ed,
Where was the Customer Forum held? And do you remember its date
(approximately)?
I've requested the doc from Symantec, and they want the time/location info
before they go digging for it.
Thanks.

In NetBackup 6.x and earlier, there is only 1 scratch pool. I've heard
rumors that 7.0 will get rid of the concept of hcart, etc. and instead go
with device and media capabilities to allow you to have multiple drive types
and media at the same time.

At the Symantec Customer Forum held here last year there was a nice
presentation on tips for mixing media and drive types. Although I have a
copy of the presentation, it's marked Symantec proprietary and
confidential. Contact your local Symantec folks and see if they'll give you
a copy.
