Dear All

when i started to create SRT ( veritas netbackup 6) for solaris 8 and in the following step of the bmrsrtadm command :

Enter a [hostname:/]pathname containing a suitable Solaris
OS CDROM or OS image location [/cdrom/cdrom0/s0] :

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

and i entered the hostname:path of the cdrom

there is no feedback (i mean no error for the path) and only i see the prompt

can any one tell me why?
