Hi!

I don’t know if its supported or not.

But if all NBU-clients are VM’s why would you then need BMR?

Assuming you mean VMware-virtualized.. a VCB Imagelevel would be sufficient wouldn’t it?

Subject: [Veritas-bu] BMR boot servers virtualised?

Hi all,

Does anyone know if running BMR boot servers (Windows and Linux) as virtual machines on VMware is supported?

Also, are boot servers necessary? I can't find it stated in the documentation, but I don't see the need for boot servers if all clients are virtualised and can easily boot from an .iso image.

Thanks,
Dean
