If I'm not mistaken you need to run Netbackup as an account that can
connect to that UNC.  Netbackup by default uses the local system account
which isn't going to have access to network resources.

Hopefully someone can help me with this. 

I'm running NB6 on a W2K server as the Master Media server connected to
a fibre channel with HBA cards. I've got a disk array with 3 LUNs
created for the intention of Disk Staging Areas. All the other servers
in the rack are also connected to the fibre channel so there shouldn't
be an issue with speed of data between the various servers. 

I've got a separate SAN running Backup Exec which is able to see and
write to these staging areas so I know there isn't a write issue with
the areas.

When I set these areas up NB6 can see them and their different sizes.
However when I kick off a test backup job to any one of them, the first
part of the job goes ok but the second part fails with the following
error code:

I've been able to write to a USB disk hanging off the Master Media
server no problems (albeit a little slow) but am still unable to write
to these staging areas.

Can anyone out there help?
