You can use bpexpdate to expire individual images or tapes.

You can expire ALL backups by doing the following:

!!!WARNING DON'T DO THIS UNLESS YOU REALLY WANT TO EXPIRE ALL DATA!!!

You can make NBU expire all images (other than those set to INFINITY
retention) simply by changing the date forward to say the year 2022 then
changing it back after it runs bpexpdate.  

I learned that the hard way by accidentally doing it.  D'oh!

I am doing testing and need space in storage unit. I can't change
retention less than a week, which means i have to wait more than week.
Is there way to get space rightaway ?
              Don't want to delete from outside of NBU. Is there any way
