Ah yes...but wouldn't it be nice to just have a Symantec-supplied
utility that would do the job for us.  There are several CLI commands
that will do the job, but you have to put them all together to get what
you want when you are setting up a policy (the scheduling part is the
worst of them with the syntax of that command as I remember).

I (and others) are looking for something that will Export a policy or
policies to something like a csv file.  Then manipulate that file if
necessary and Import back into the system.  You know, tweak the storage
unit here and the schedule there...  If you can do it for one policy,
then you can easily use it to make new ones or move them from one system
to another or make bulk changes.  

So, again, Symantec if you are listening...please provide something that
does this.

The policy stuff is in text files today, right?

/usr/openv/netbackup/db/class/<client_name>/...

I've moved them between servers before.  I haven't actually tried to
modify them too much that way.  I tend to prefer scripting the CLI tools
instead.  But if it's done offline, it should work fine.
