I use the GUI wizard, it might be faster using command line but I'm lazy. I've also found that I make mistakes using the command line sometimes.

They're 9940's but irrelevant to the core of the example

Currently defined robotics are:
  TLD(0)     robot control host = recyclebin-bkup
  ACS(3)     ACSLS server = acsdov,

EMM Server = tardis-bkup

I've shortened the output as I'm guessing you just want to see what it looks like.

Cheers,

One last question (for now): when you add the robot (ACSLS) and tape drives
to the new media servers, how do you go about doing it (your method)?

Could you show your tpconfig -d on the media server using:

1. 9840 drives
2. T10K drives

And also the commands you used to configure them, and also:
/usr/openv/volmgr/bin/vmglob -listall -b on the master?

Thanks!

Justin.
