Netbackup 6, MP4,
Windows.
Is there any sort of
tape limit on a standard NBU license?
We have this strange
issue where we've just had an expansion unit added to our SL500s tape
library giving us >144 slots available.
I'm still trouble-shooting this issue but I can make the standard volume group
to see more than 55 tapes; any tapes in the library over the 55 mark are moved
into the stand-alone volume group. It doesn't seem to matter which slots I move
the tapes to.
I'll run the robot
inventory and it will give me 55 tapes in the normal volume group, and the reset
it will stick in the stand-alone group, so I'll then put the stand-alone tapes
into the CAP, re-run the inventory (this time to empty CAP as well) and it will
add the tapes from the CAP but then take out other tapes and put them in the
stand-alone group.
It never makes it
above 55 tapes.
Cheers,
