They’ve been pitching to us in competition with Data Domain.
They do their de-duplication post-write, instead of Data Domain’s
inline de-dupe, so they claim great speed improvements over Data Domain all
day.
If your budget doesn’t warrant a Data Domain and your backup window
is really crunched, you may want to look at them, at least to get Data Domain
to bring down prices.
