If it is an oracle backup, should the type not be a "4"
instead of a "2" like you have. I don't know of a type
"2".
If it is a type 4, then you have to pull it back with RMAN
from the Oracle client.

Hi All,
Can anyone tell what is the procedure to recover oracle
database which are being backed up from netbackup using netbackup script. I
tried using the following command, but it is failing from error 227.
bprestore -B -C aloe-b -D aloe-b -p
ORA-ALOE-EAI-DD -s 12/05/2007 -e 12/07/2007 -f
/home/dasrr/restore_EAI_aloe_source -L /home/dasrr/restore_log_aloe -t 2
Here our client is aloe and I
have added the file list in the file restore_EAI_aloe_source. Is it required to
make a restore script and do the restore using that??
Thanks & Regards,
