Certainly could be, but I don't think so.  I didn't have any down drives
this weekend.

In addition, while that would help explain the increased tape usage, it
wouldn't explain my not being able to see them in the media page.  When
I look at older frozen volumes, they still have an 'assigned' date.  And
if the frozen tape wasn't still assigned, it couldn't be responsible for
the increased number of assigned tapes.

I grepped through my logs looking for 'assigned' and 'allocated', but
didn't turn anything up (I don't think I'm running verbose logs at the
moment).  My first hope was an entry that would give a timestamp and a
volume name for each of the assignments, but I haven't found anything
that seems useful....
