I figured it out.
The netbackup client service
needs to be running.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Catalog recovery
I’m trying to recover a catalog from a windows master server
to another windows master server I have in a lab environment.
The server names are the same. When I run the bprecover –l
–tpath Tape1, I get
IMAGE1 D:\Veritas\Netbackup\db
IMAGE2 D:\Veritas\Netbackup\var
IMAGE3 D:\Veritas\Volmgr\database
However when I run bprecover –r 1 –tpath Tape1 –dhost
(servername) –v
I get a failed to execute /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/tar tar32
Handshake failed.
Does anyone have any ideas?
