Ohh the infamous question...well w/ 6.5 you now get BMR for free and 6.5
will support Exchange 2007 backups...good things...and from what I was
told by Symantec (take it as you will) is 6.5 is using the same engine
as 6.0 so the upgrade is not as pain full as 5.x to 6.0 prior MP1.  They
packaged so the install does an in place upgrade and is suppose to be as
simply as next next next finish.  I have not tried it yet but am getting
ready to.  Also there are some additional functions in 6.5 that makes
upcoming updates easier to roll out, for example they will offer a live
update so when patches come out, you simply schedule the update as a
policy and the Master server will push the updates out to the clients.
There are also some cool functions when it comes to Vmware backups...MP1
when it is release will allow hot backups of VMDKs. Good luck and tread
lightly.
