I have experienced on this setup. There will be performance issues using NFS 
mount. What I have done is I use ISCSI as my NAS connectivity on Master/Media 
server and create a DSU on Different LUN's

Check your NAS if it supports ISCSI also your Master/Media host.
A separate VLAN for your NAS to ease network traffic.

Today, using NAS as Storage Unit recommend to use 10Gb network.
