You can use the command bpflist, it will tell you what was backed up. Then a quick PERL or KORN to verify your file.

Hello All,

Is there a way to verify a file was backed up to tape, some sort of Veritas command? I would like to create a script to notify me so I can delete some files and keep a file system cleaned up.
