Hi Guys

I had a query on designing a netbackup RMAN policy design

I am putting in a Netbackup solution for about 70 Oracle DB's spread
over about 30 DB servers (some cross sites)

I want to put in a solution that will keep things neat and tidy
Unfortunately from what I can tell to put in an effective Netbackup/RMAN
solution each DB needs to go into its own netbackup policy
I cant find a way to multistream RMAN scripts so they must be in
separate policies to be able to run in parallel
The NEW_STREAM directive doesn't seem to work with RMAN scripts in the
file list

Can anyone with a large Oracle environment share what policy design they
have used and what if any problems they have had?

Also it seems I have to have a separate script for each DB which means
spread maintenance and admin as the scripts reside on the backup client.
Has anyone had any success using a default generic script executed by
Netbackup which passed the appropriate parameters to the RMAN script

Regards
Tal
