Until you have an [x]inetd process running the system wont be able to
listen for bpcd connections

You can start bpcd in standalone mode (bpcd -standalone) on the client
for the time being

I'm new to the Symantec Netbackup.

My environment consists of one master that is run on Windows Server 2000
(NBU 6 MP4). I have a problem with one of my client that used RHEL5. The
client installation seems not succesful.
