Thanks for the response!  Won't NOSHMDUP hurt performance?  Especially 
with DSSU?  Interesting bits of bptm log:

01:00:21.690 [8395] <16> flush_buffer: cannot write data to socket, 
Connection reset by peer
01:01:24.010 [8385] <16> create_data_socket: listen for socket timeout 
during accept from data listen socket after 60 seconds

NUMBER_DATA_BUFFERS 256
SIZE_DATA_BUFFERS 64k

I know this isn't ideal for LTO2, but the buffer size is hard to change if 
you want to be able to restore data from a year ago.
