Subject: [Veritas-bu] Getting a list of *ALL* media on command line

Hello.

Is there a way to have Netbackup 6.0 MP4 @ Solaris generate a list of
*ALL* the media it knows about on the command line?

When I go to the Java admin GUI -> Media and Device Management -> Media,
I see all the media the Netbackup system knows about. Even those tapes,
which aren't currently inserted in one of the trays.

How do I get this exact listing on the command line? I know about the
admincmd/bpmedialist command, but this only seems to list those media,
which are currently available. Not those which are offline (ie. not in
the magazines, from which the robot can fetch tapes).

But I'm primarily interested in those tapes, which are NOT in the mags.
How do I get such a list?

What I need that for? I'd like to write a script, which shows me, which
tapes I should take from the offsite storage and insert in the machine.
I only want to insert tapes, which are completely expired (ie. those tapes,
where all the images are expired).

Thanks for your help,

Alexander Skwar
