I am setting up DSSU - here is what I have done.....
 
Win2k3 Master NBU 5.1 MP5 + 2 SAN Media Servers - SSO connected robot -
works great :-)
I created 2 Disk Storage Units - names Server001 and Server002 - ok
simple....
 
I set up Disk Staging, Set Max Jobs to 10 and Disk Staging Schedule - all ok
- carried out for both servers.
 
Job ran, and noticed the performance was not as good as LTO3 Fibre channel
tape. But thought .. ok will do more tests....
 
Anyhow, I just noticed that when the Disk Staging Schedule kicked in it
shows 3 Duplication Jobs - used 4 tapes!
 
And I am not sure why :-( Would this have anything to do with the Max
Current Jobs? By default my tape policies are set to 10, so I wanted to
mirror this.
 
Any advice would be appreciated.
