Standard is fine unless you are looking to do something else (like
clustering) with the system, or have more than 4GB of ram or 4
processors. Worst case scenario you can always upgrade standard to
enterprise in place. All our media and master servers are Windows 2003
Std w/ 4GB RAM and 2 Dual Core Intel Processors (32bit.)

Recommendations for a Master Server;

Windows 2003 Standard Edition
or
Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition (64)

In a 5.1 environment (eventually going to 6.0 MP4+) are there comments
on using one of the above OS's over the other?

Thanks,
Scott
