Hello NBU forum,
I prefer to do my tape cleaning manually, so I've setup the NO_TAPEALERT touch
file.
The touch file "NO_TAPEALERT" in "/usr/openv/netbackup" does not appear to be
working.
On occasion I'll have a drive go to into a down state with the logs reporting
the reason it was downed was due to their need to be cleaned.
When I run:
/usr/openv/volmgr/bin # ./tpautoconf -t
TPAC45 QUANTUM DLT7000 2565 PXB07S2697 -1 -1 -1 -1 /dev/st/nh0c0t0l0 -
TapeAlert enabled
It shows that TapeAlert enabled.
Maybe this touch file needs to reside in "/usr/openv/volmgr" or is this a
legacy setting that no longer works?
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
