Normally we do this for database refreshes as mentioned so wouldn't run into 
that issue as both would be reachable.  

I can't say for sure it would work if the original was unavailable but *think* 
we've done it in the past when needing to restore data from previously retired 
media servers.

Of course if one of the media servers in your configuration is down it causes 
issues with timeouts in trying to scan things so maybe that is what you were 
seeing.  In the *think* cases above we wouldn't have experienced that as we 
would have removed the retired server from media server configuration.

Should this work even if the original media server is unreachable?
I've attempted this a couple times and found that when trying to
restore, I would get as far as the media required would be listed, but
the robot would never select it....It would sit there waiting for media
to mount.
