Hi.

I'm using NBU 5.1 to backup a few Solaris servers. Since recently,
I'm experiencing problems with the backup. Specifically, on one
server, the backup just stalls (at the last file?). Ie. it just
doesn't go on.

Eg. right now, it hangs at:

askwar at winds05 ~ $ ls -lah
/.backup/snapshots/u01/apps/oracle/oradata/RACEREF0/archive/1_403_583919677.dbf
-rw-r----- 1 oracle oinstall 9.6M Mar 13 2006
/.backup/snapshots/u01/apps/oracle/oradata/RACEREF0/archive/1_403_583919677.dbf

So it hangs at a file which is just a tiny 9.6M in size.

The file resides on a Solaris 9 Sparc server. It's on a snapshot
of a UFS filesystem. Because of that, the file cannot change. Ie.
it's impossible that something's changing the file while it's being
backed up.

Anyone know what might be causing this?

Regards,

Alexander Skwar
