Putting up new NBU 6 backup solution. Here is the plan:

Current backup 5 TB/day and growing

Master Sun 245 or similar/Sol. 10
Media Sun 245 or similar/Sol. 10

Disk staging on EMC DL210 VTL attached to media server thru fiber
Tape backup on ADIC i500 LTO Library attached to the VTL thru fiber
Client backup done on a dedicated 100BaseT LAN

I would like to get any ideas or suggestions on the plan. I would also
appreciate past & present  experience on the DL210 VTL and i500.

Also, is it possible to directly attach the media server---->VTL----->i500
thru dark fiber or do I need a fiber switch or is there any other way of
doing it?
