While adding another media server and robot to our enterprise I was on
the phone with the support staff.  As reluctant as I was the support
tech had me reconfigure our master/media server as well as the remote
robot using the "configure storage devices" wizard.  Now I have got most
of the settings back.

One problem is that while inserting new media into our robot the media
type is set to DLT.  This should be DLT3.  I have found the settings in
the advanced options for a robot inventory but these do no make an
effect on new media, nor do they stay set to the selected type.  Each
time we go back to that page the setting for media type reverts to
default.  So after inserting new media it is not usable to us because of
the incorrect media type.


So how do we make a permanent change to the default media type?
