Hope you are familiar with NetApp's Snapmirror technology, which is
basically mirroring the NetApp volumes to a secondary filer. With SM2T
(SnapMirror to Tape) the idea is to use tapes as the secondry filer.
So it works at the block level and incremental updates are based on
snapshots.

BTW, we don't use it (yet) because we are still a Veritas NetBackup shop.
I heard Yahoo! switched from Veritas to BakBone  just becase of this
one feature.
