The network drivers are supposed to be *much* better on Solaris 10 than 
they are on earlier releases.

Symantec also has a NetBackup tuning guide with rules of thumb for how 
much processing power you need.  Unfortunately they give them in Mhz 
without specifying an architecture but if you assume Windows and an x86 
processor, you might get somewhere close to useful.
