Are you running NBU 6.0 perhaps?  Because it's seriously busted with
regards to job status in the Activity Monitor...  I've seen many cases
where a supposedly finished job is still running...  We've got this into
Engineering to get fixed (along with about 5-10 other open bugs).  I've
also seen a few cases where the StorageConsole agent has crashed on the
master and not updated the portal properly (and have received fixes for
those) and my major self-inflicted pain when I upgraded to NBU 6.0 but
didn't reconfigure StorageConsole...it mostly worked but not everywhere
it does now.
