I'm working on something similar for a large data consolidation project we are
doing here. The short answer I believe is no. The best I have been able to
do, is setup a server with a small robot, backup the remote sites catalogs and
FTP them to this server and then import them as I need them (renaming this
server as required.) We're decommissioning about 8 remote sites, and running
their backups remotely now.... this is a stop gap measure for the next year
until all their backups have expired.

Hi

I read your mail and it is very useful for me.

I have centralized backup project and try to find a method to merge catalog
dbs. Is it possible. Anyone of you done before?

We have three Nb site and each site have their master/media server. Now we will
add a new master server and then change these master/media servers to media
servers of this new master server. can ? merge these 3 catalog on the new
master server catalog?

I ask to veritas they said that we must prepare to merge tool and it will not
ready before october.

I am waiting your helps
