Are the clients in this policy definetely Windows 2003?
You cannot backup Windows NT 4 / Windows 2000 clients with shadow copy as
this will of course fail.
 
If they ARE Windows 2003, then ensure the client software is correct version
running to handle shadow copy backups (including maintenance packs).
 
Finally, as a TEST, create a new TEST Policy for the client(s) and try again
:-)

Hi! I'm getting status code 71 on Windows 2003 shadow copy components full
backup. Any ideas on this?

This Win NT policy backs up the OS and data partitions without any issues
but throws a status code 71 for shadow copy components. Any help would be
appreciated.
