Subject: [Veritas-bu] Backup More Data Than Exists?

Server NBU 5.1 MP4 on Windows
Client NBU 5.1 MP4 on Windows 2003

I've been running afoul on my tape usage recently so I've begun to
analyze my data. It seems that on one server with about 350GB of data
I'm constantly backing up over 800GB to tape (via NBU's Client Backup
Report.) I thought that NBU might be mistaken but the backup does use
about 4 (SDLT 220) Tapes, which is consistent with 800GB. The data is
on a compressed NTFS partition, but 350GB (Native Storage) uncompressed
to 800GB seems unlikely. I've disabled / reenabled Windows Open File
Backup to no avail. I'm going to keep working on the compression issue
today by trying to copy the data to an uncompressed share on another
server, but I was wondering if anyone else has had any similar issues?

TIA
