Nope, it hasn't....the destage to tape usually happens the morning after
the nightly backups.....the backup images stay on disk for a couple
weeks, so you want a good quantity of disk.

It may be a problem if you only have enough disk to do one night's
backup, and you have insufficient tape drives to get it all destaged.
But disk->tape is typically fairly quick compared to
client->network->disk, so assuming you have about an 8 hour backup
window, I'd assume you have 16 hours or so to get the images from disk
to tape.

In anycase, Netbackup only deletes the data from the disk as new backups
are written to disk....my disk usually sits 95-100% full.

I've had jobs fail just because NBU's disk management is a little whacky
in 5.0 and it doesn't delete enough old junk to make room for new
backups, but that's a different problem.
