Well I "occasionly" when going on leave.......

Write an offlike disk catalog backup to disk and then schedule command to
copy to another server in a remote room on its own.

As a rule, I also take a tape out and store it in a fire safe off site.

I'm looking into getting away from tape based catalog backups and writing
them to disk, then scripting them to copy to our DR site. Anyone doing
anything like this?  I'm thinking I'll have to compress, given the 80GB of
Catalog files produced.  Has anyone tested Zipped or RAR'd Catalog file
restores?  I'm about to run a full DR test from a NBU perspective, and I'd
like to get this in before then if possible.
