Hi Simon,
The technote "De-commissioning a Media Server and removing it from
NetBackup configuration" explains how to clean the environment after
disable a Media Server.

Asunto: [Veritas-bu] HELP - NetBackup In A Right Mess - No Media Servers
Guys
while away on holiday, I came back to find our 2 SAN Media Servers
totally destroyed and replaced with new equipment and new names - no
reference to Netbackup.
Someone has also dabbled with the master server, and as a result, it
still seems to know about my 2 SAN Media Servers, even though they are
not online - one of them thinks it IS online, because its using the same
IP address!
Is there a way I can clean things up, before resetting up 2 new SAN
Media Servers!?!?
Thanks
Regards
Simon Weaver
