With the system state backups even if defined as a DI they are full backups. I
assume that since the "Shadow Copy Components" are a spin off from the system
state backups that they also are aways full backups.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Backing up IIS

Hi,

I'm looking into backing up IIS and there seems a few ways to do this (and if
using ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES you get them all).
First off there's the 'system state' (win2k) and 'shadow copy components'
(win2k3), which backs up 'IIS', although I'm unsure exactly what it backs up.
There is also a straight file backup, which will backup the IIS files.
What's the best method (or what do people find is the best method)?
With 'system state' and 'Shadow Copy Components' does it have to always be a
full backup or will DI work (obviously provided a full backup has been done
previously).

Cheers,
