we're looking at Diligent and Falconstor.

primarily because Netbackup isn't "there" yet..DSSU doesn't cover what
we need, and it doesn't look like they're ready to go wide open with
purdisk yet, so with falconstor or diligent, we can license the SW and
run it on commodity 2U servers and attach it to whatever disk we want,
and roll it into our current environment with little impact......then
when Netbackup is ready to play ball in the Enterprise D2D arena, we can
re-allocate the servers, and re-use the disk directly...., rather than
having a big piece of proprietary hardware sitting on the data center
floor.

        Hi,

        =20

I am looking datadomain and diligent products and have noticed
that Netbackup are doing something similar with its PurDisk function.
Have anyone looked at Netbackup PureDisk?
