Looks good to me Greg...Better than what I have to deal with.

one caveat I would mention is to make sure that your 3 year retention
has a 6 month aggregation for SLA, and your 1 year retention has 2 month
aggregation.
ie, if one of the quarterly image tapes is bad, your SLA permits you to
go 3 months forward or backward to get the restore done.
You don't want your SLA hanging on a single media cartridge.

With all this talk about retentions, full vs. differentials vs.
cumulative. Most of our policy's here get daily differentials which are
kept for 2 weeks, weekly fulls which are kept for 1 month. Some of our
servers get a monthly full which is kept for a year and our Sox servers
get a quarterly full which is kept for 3 years. Does anyone see any
problems with this setup? We are just about ready to start a policy
condensing project where we will use policy's based on data retentions
and hopefully cut the number of policy's we have by 70%. But we are also
revisiting how long we keep data as well. Suggestions / Thoughts?
