Paul, you are quite right, it has always been a bit pecuilar,
but discovering devices with ndmp hosts (SSO option) has really brought
this problem to the fore.

We have however determined there is a bug in
6.0mp2 with the gui device discovery wizard. It occasionaly will not
detect all the drives presented to the various servers when run while
NDMP hosts are added to the search.=20
