Hi again
Quick question and clarification please.
5 months ago, I put in place an HP EVL LTO3 Library/Robot and a Master
Server and 2 SAN Media Servers.
SSO is in use - Tape drive used by SAN Servers through fibre directly to the
drives to improve performance (which works).
I have a question regarding the drivers used. Presently on the Master and 2
SAN Media Servers, the LTO3 Drives are using HP drivers.
I am now starting to wonder if this is correct, as the 2 Media Servers have
been blue screening almost 2 times a week.
As the HP Drivers are applied and running, is this the recommended software
to use, or should there be a Veritas driver that should be implemented? This
would rule out the drivers if they are wrong.
Thanks
Regards
Simon Weaver
