Guys
I am 100% I asked this question before, but I cannot find a response, so
just in case can I ask it again?
2 Node Cluster - Each node is a SAN Media Server.
SAN Media Server names are SERVER1 and SERVER2 (this is their Physical
Names)
Each Server has a Virtual Hostname of HOME 1 and GROUP2 - It is these
virtual names that users connect to in order to access resources. Home1
lives on Server1 and Group2 lives on Server2.
That is until today... when the Resources swapped over and although the
backups were completed fine over the weekend, I am suspecting that tonight
the backups will fail as the virtual names are on the wrong physical names.
Am I right in thinking this IS the case?
Also, if anyone else has a Win2k or Win2k3 cluster, could I ask another
question, OFF the topic of Netbackup?
Thanks
Regards
Simon Weaver
