In regards to re-starting one stream, what I either do is:
1) Create a new Policy with all the same settings as my existing policy and
configure for the 1 stream that failed
2) Re-run your existing policy, and simply kill off the streams you do not
need.
In regards to how long a stream takes, doesnt Activity Monitor show you this
when you double click on a job?

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Logging backup time and manually restarting one stream
Hi,
Environment - NB 5.1 MP 3 running on Hp -UX
Is there a possibility to check the backup time of a specific stream
within a policy. For each drive we specify a new stream. Is it possible to
get information
about the start/end time and amount of data of each stream?
Are there any commands I can use in scripts to retrieve performance
data?
And also is there a way to manually restart one particular stream without
restarting all streams - In detail, Sometimes I see that one particular
stream would fail ( due to media issue or something else) and rest of the
backup streams for the same client run successfully. Next day morning when I
come in, I just want to start the failed stream without restarting all
streams for that particular client.
Any help is appreciated!!
Thanks
Smitha
