you might also consider running SAN Media Server with SSO. It will only
backup the server(s) it is installed on but if that is your goal the
price is a bit lower than a straight media server. You can also install
San Media Server in a cluster. We did it for a while on an MS-SQL
cluster. I did not care for it as it makes cluster admin more
complicated, but it did work. Can't say anything about exchange cluster.

        Does anyone have and info about making an Exchange server a
Media server? We are running NBU 6 on Win2k3, Exchange 2k3 on a SAN. We
are looking at making one of the Exchange cluster nodes a Media server
to handle the backup to disk to tape. What would the repercussions be of
this in a disaster recovery mode?
