Also, just in case, what if you re-configure the Catalogue again, using the
Wizard, use a different set of tapes and re-try. A very long shot I know,
but it might be worth a try, to rule the media out.
DB sounds quite large - I am guessing you have alot of long retention
periods / infinite / clients ?

I use 5.1 and time wise, it depends on the size of the catalogue mainly.
