Hey Guys:
=20
I need help again (not a surprise). I have some Windows clients (W2003
server) that keep giving me 54's or 59's for error codes. I do not have
any admin rights to the servers. Would you know what I can tell the
admins in an effort to get things resolved? I am running NBU 5.1 on
Solaris 9.
=20
This is what bperror -S gives me:
root[:/]# bperror -S 54
timed out connecting to client
The server could not complete the connection to the client. The accept
system or winsock call timed out after 60 seconds.
root[:/]# bperror -S 59
access to the client was not allowed
The master or media server is trying to access the client, but the
server is not recognized by the client as a valid server.
=20
I have tried putting the IPs of the clients within the master server's
/etc/inet/hosts file thinking that maybe that would help (long shot). It
looks like there may be a DNS issue on their end, but I would like to
hear it from people in the trenches.
=20
Thanks in advance! I appreciate any feedback,
=20
Bill
