I tried using time stamp. Didn't work, the only solution is to turn of
TIR, which if you do a weekly full then TIR doesn't really get you that
much in my opinion.

=20

TIR is helpful if you did a full once a month, then if you had to do a
massive restore you wouldn't want it restoring all the files that users
have since deleted but were backed up. But how much data change is
present once a week? Depends on the footprint of the data of course,
but for ours it was file shares and users weren't deleting much, it's
the other way around, they are pack rats and store everything....

=20

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!

NBU 5.x streamed to do a Incr and no TIR is set in the policy, yet
today, still doing a full - which I now cancelled!

=20

I am going to try doing backups using TIME STAMP tonight!!

Cannot afford to go through this amount of tapes!

=20

No other client is affected!

This seems to be happening to quite a few people, its happening
to me in a similar environment on our file server. Try turning off True
Image Restore...

this is a remote office and there is not that much activity on the
client to warrant the incrementals backing up that much data every day.=20
