Morning
I have a really strange problem, that I cannot understand myself, but hoping
someone can help!
On Friday, I scheduled a FULL backup on a client computer - holds 2TB of
Data. I streamed the backups so the following drive letters were backed up
as follows:
L:, P:, Q:, M:, N:, O: & R:
Came in Monday and got error 96 - no more tapes available for 2 streams
(Drives R: & O: did not complete). The remainder drive letters were backed
up successfully. I then performed a full backup on these 2 letters again
after putting more tapes into the Robot. This now completed successfully.
Yesterday, I ran the normal Incremental Policy for the same drive letters. I
have come in this morning to find that drive letters N: & L: are still
running, and in fact M:, P: & Q: took OVER 20 hours to do!!
There has been no large amounts of Data placed on these drives, yet it seems
to be doing what looks like a full backup. The Incrmental for drive letters
R: & O: completed in under 30 mins.
I dont want to stop the 2 streams running in case Netbackup starts all over
again. Can anyone guide me as to where I could start looking into this
problem?
Yours
Simon
