Hi

=20

Netbackup =96 NBU 5.1

Robot =96 ADIC Scalar i2k & 4 x FC LTO_3 drives.=20

OS =96 AIX 5.2

=20

On IO-Blade port 1, we have the robot (lun 0) and two of the four =
drives. On port 2 we have the other two drives.

=20

After the ovpass driver and other configurations are installed / setup, =
we do a tpautoconf =96t and we get 4 drives.=20

tautoconf =96r we get the robot / library.=20

=20

Startup Netbackup and create the robot. After robot creation, we checked =
tpautoconf =96t and tpautoconf =96r and all is still available. 1 robot =
and 4 drives.

We then create only the first drive and after creation the two drives =
that=92s on the same port (1) as the robot, disappear.=20

Tpautoconf =96t shows only the two drives from port 2.

Tpautoconf =96r still shows the robot.=20

Drives 1 and 2 are gone.

=20

Any ideas as to what is happening here? =20

=20

=20

Current workaround =96 Robot on its own, on port 1 and the 4 LTO_3 =
drives on port 2. All working, but we obviously would not want to keep =
this configuration.
