I've got a V420 master/media, a V220 media, and a Windows media server
and we back up about 35TB per week. We make it work but are requesting
upgrades. One of the upgrades we really need is to replace that darn
Windows media server with a V440.

We run both and have good admins for each. Windows sucks. Solaris
sucks less.

I really wish Linux was ready but it's not quite there yet. I expect
that in a few years we won't be having Solaris vs AIX vs Linux
discussions - Linux will likely be the de facto standard although for
medium-size implementations and perhaps Solaris or AIX for the bigger
folks.
